Student evaluation - generic examination rules

In all TUs, the assessment of the student skills are made with:
  • 2 online exams (the first one (1h) organized at the middle of the TU and a final exam of 2h, 1 or 2 weeks after the end of the TU). These exams represent respectively 25% and 50 % of the final note of the TU. The duration of the online exams is susceptible to be changed (decision made by the TU responsible)
  • correction of materials (tutorials, report of practical works) submitted online at the end of each week => 25% of the final note of the TU
  • a maximum of 2 bonus points for the total note of the TU in case of active participation of the student into TU activities (forum activity, presence to the virtual classrooms, share of interesting links found on Internet)

A re-assessement season for the 1st and 2nd semester would take place by school years end. This 2nd session will consist of a single online final exam with a duration between 1 to 2 hours depending on the TUs.

Notice, however, that in exceptional cases and depending on national legislation, students may be forced to attend on-campus exams.
